From Mums With Love: Our Kids Social
Get your dancing shoes on folks!
I am thrilled to receive our latest pen pal through from the fabulous team at Our Kids Social.
Our Kids Social sprang in to action off the back of looking for fun things to do with children in the local area of Manchester. Whilst they had plenty of options during the week, they wanted something different to do at the weekend that catered for everyone and meant having fun together as a family. Let's face it, there are only so many times you can go back to soft-play without needing a change of scene! They wanted to create a place where families could be together and all enjoy themselves - somewhere with something for everyone, and that they did! Their awesome events have families spreading the word across parent forums and they are not to be missed!

I am Hannah, family woman, Deputy Head Teacher, blogger at Not Just Rita's Mother and a third of the team behind Our Kids Social family events.
Not Just Rita's Mother and Our Kids Social both came about during pregnancy / mat leave. Neither would probably have come to fruition if it weren’t for motherhood.
By planning ahead! I often work long hours but always make time for the people I love to see and things I love to do.
Everywhere! Family, friends, colleagues, an inner resilience and determination!
Michelle Obama - when they go low, we go high; applicable to life in general, not just business.
The feeling when we are in the middle of a social surrounded by smiling faces.
Erm, this is really hard. When she was born she had loads of hair which stood on end like a pineapple but that has thankfully calmed down since.
#thejuggleisreal - for all those parents spinning many many plates even before 9am.
I know this is controversial but I'm not a great follower and I don't do insta - it's not my bag. That said, I love Lauren Laverne and The Pool - they have to be my go to.
Well aside from Our Kids Social (obviously!) we love Shake Rattle and Roll at Band on the Wall, Longford Park, Manchester Museum, our local library and for food - Croma (excellent kids meal deal).
The Paper dolls by Julia Donaldson :)
Sing - with Manchester Glee, swim - alone, drink wine - with friends and family, read - anything at all.
