Are your children's dresses suitable for everyday wear?
Many of our dresses are designed exactly for this. Organic cotton jersey, soft woven fabrics, and practical details like easy-on necklines and comfortable waistbands make them as wearable on a Tuesday as at a birthday party. We deliberately avoid stiff, scratchy fabrics — children's clothes should move with them.
What age range do you stock dresses and all-in-ones for?
Our dresses and all-in-ones cover newborn rompers and all-in-ones through to age 10+ dresses and dungarees. The range includes pieces for every occasion — everyday play, nursery, parties, and special events.
Do you have occasion dresses for birthdays and parties?
Yes — we have a beautiful selection of occasion and celebration pieces that feel genuinely special without being over-fussy. Bob & Blossom's tutu dresses and celebration pieces are particularly popular, as are more classic occasion dresses from our Scandinavian brands. Can I see the dresses in person at your Huddersfield store?
Yes — Acorn & Pip is at 6–7 Carr Lane, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield HD7 5AN. Dresses are especially worth seeing in person — the movement, fabric quality, and true colour are all things that photographs don't fully capture. Open Sunday to Wednesday 9am–4pm and Thursday to Saturday 9am–5pm.
