Bobux Kids Shoes - Stylish and Comfortable Footwear

What is Bobux and what makes their shoes different?
Bobux is a New Zealand children's shoe brand built around barefoot science — the idea that children's feet develop best when shoes mimic the feeling of being barefoot. Their shoes feature flexible, thin soles, wide toe boxes, and zero heel drop to allow natural foot movement. Unlike rigid conventional shoes, Bobux lets growing feet do what they're designed to do.

Are Bobux shoes good for toddlers taking their first steps?
Bobux is particularly beloved by parents of first walkers. Their Step Up and i-Walk ranges are specifically designed for babies and toddlers who are just starting to walk, with ultra-flexible soles that allow the foot to feel and grip the ground naturally. If you're in the Slaithwaite or Huddersfield area, come into The Shoe Shop and we'll measure your child's feet and find the right fit — getting the first shoe right really matters.

Do I need to visit the shop to get Bobux shoes fitted properly?
We strongly recommend it. Bobux shoes are sized specifically and a proper fit is crucial — especially for barefoot-style shoes where the toe box needs to be just right. Our trained fitters at The Shoe Shop, 5 Carr Lane, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield (HD7 5AN) will measure both feet, assess your child's gait, and make sure you leave with the right pair. We're open Monday to Saturday and always happy to fit without an appointment.

What is the difference between Bobux Step Up, i-Walk, and Kid+?
The Bobux range is divided by developmental stage. Step Up is for pre-walkers and first walkers (roughly 6–18 months); i-Walk is for confident walkers aged around 12 months–3 years; Kid+ covers children from around age 3 upwards. Our in-store team in Huddersfield can advise on the right stage for your child at any age.

Are Bobux shoes available to try on in Huddersfield?
Yes — we hold a wide range of Bobux styles in The Shoe Shop at 5 Carr Lane, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield. Trying before you buy is especially important for barefoot shoes to ensure the fit is correct. Pop in any time during opening hours — no appointment needed.
